Mousetrap Vehicle Test Day

Characteristics:
Effectiveness: Does it work? Yes
Reliability: Does it operate consistently? No
Durability: Does it withstand repeated use? Yes
Economy: Is it made from existing materials? Yes
Accuracy: Does it meet all design criteria? Yes
Safety: Are risks minimized in design? Yes
Effort: Is it easily operated? Yes

Performance:
Straight line path? Yes
Distance Traveled: 10.3 meters

At first our car went in circles when we tested it, it sometimes went straight but not far, then would go backward.  Thankfully the distance became longer as the test day went on.  We believe it was affected by the curve in the canteen floor, when we tested it in the hallway it went far and straight for an estimated 10.3 meters with ease.  We plan to use stronger fishing line for the competition day.
